Its neighbours, the tall white Fidelity Life Tower, and the ship-like Net One building were built several years later.\r\n\r\nThe Managing Director and owner is Zimbabwean-born, Simon Pitt. From 1984, prior to establishing Touchstone, he was a director in Micropac, which produced a simple payroll system that had versions which operated on Apple and IBM-compatible computers such as NCR DMV!\r\n\r\nFrom an initial 6 staff and 50 Payplus users Touchstone now has 17 staff and agents, and over 750 databases in stalled with clients in the Southern African region. Touchstone welcomes enquiries form potential agents in Southern Africa, and will provide training and backup for successful consultants. \r\n \r\nTouchstone staff training focuses on customer service, payroll knowledge and technical problem-solving, providing each member with skills which enables them to understand and advise our clients on a wide variety of needs and problems. Senior staff have an average of over 10 year's service with the company.\r\n\r\nTouchstone has a business partnership agreement with Renegate, a software development company, that ensures that the payroll systems are maintained and upgraded to meet the requirements of changing technology, local payroll practices and statutory requirements.<\/p>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div><!-- \/.about-content -->\r\n\t\t\t<\/div><!-- \/.col-lg-6 -->\r\n\t\t\t<div class=\"col-lg-6\">\r\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"featured-image-box\">\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"img-box\">\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/touch.isolutions.co.zw\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/Staff-at-19-Phillips-20201209_170429-1-scaled.jpg\" alt=\"Image\"\/>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<!-- \/.img-box -->\r\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"text-box\">\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<h3><\/h3>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Touchstone offers numerous training options at its Training Centre in Harare for companies' Payroll, HR and Finance staff.\r\n\r\nBasic courses on Labour Legislation are offered for those new to payroll, and also for Workers' Committees.\r\n\r\nTouchstone also runs evening-classes for the IPTA diploma in Payroll and Tax Administration.(These are temporarily on hold during the Covid-19 pandemic)\r\n\r\nSeminars are regularly run for Top Executives and Auditors on various ways tomanage the company payroll and  reduce the likelihood of payroll fraud.\r\n\r\nTouchstone, and its agents also offer Payroll Bureau Facilities. and are currently processing the pay for more than 100 companies.
